Legatoの創業のきっかけは、
大学院での研究を通じ東南アジア諸国の病院の現地視察を続ける中で、
海外の富裕層が自国より高い医療技術や低いコストを求めて
アジアの民間病院を訪れる一方、同じ地域に住む一般の人々が
非常に困難な医療環境の下で何時間も治療を待つ現状に
違和感や疑問を覚えたことがはじまりでした。
私自身が20代の頃、患者として闘病を続けた経験も根底にあります。
エビデンスに基づいた医療とヘルスケアの技術・情報・サービスを、国内外の専門家との共働により新興国・途上国の医療者・患者さんにも届け、共に学び、成長する社会起業となること。
私達は「医療と健康に関わるすべての人々の想い」をつなぎ、
専門家と専門家の共働を提案、促進することで
疾病の予防と早期発見、人々の健康と幸福に奉仕することを使命としています。

The motivation to launch Medi Legato initially originated from my MBA thesis which focused on market
research of the medical services provided in Southeast Asian countries. As a result of my research and an
eye-opening observation， I was inspired to provide easier access to better health care services to people in
developing countries， providing them with affordable checkups and early detection. By working side by side and
sharing information with local medical staff we hope to achieve this goal.
On a personal note， I have myself experienced being a patient and being on the receiving end of medical
treatment served to motivate me further.
We strive to make each person healthier and happier by promoting cooperation between experts and improving
early detection of diseases.
